PES 2021 features updated player and team data, as well as improvements to gameplay and graphics compared to its predecessor, PES 2024. The game also includes new features such as the Matchday mode, which allows players to compete in online events representing their favorite clubs, and the Iconic Moments Series, which allows players to relive and recreate historic moments from the careers of legendary football players.
It's worth noting that Konami has announced that PES will undergo a significant overhaul and be rebranded as "eFootball" in the future. This means that the current version of the game, PES 2024, will be the last to carry the "PES" name. However, the company has not yet announced any official details about the release of the new eFootball game.
